I recently attended the Beginner 1 group lesson with Jo. I had played a few times, but still consider myself a beginner who needed a refresher on basic strokes/technique, rules and etiquette. Jo was excellent. She was patient, informative and fun. I highly recommend a lesson with her!

I had a chance to take a beginner lesson with Jo while visiting the Victoria region and I am so glad I did.  Jo made sure to cover all the basics while making the experience engaging and entertaining and didn't mind us throwing our own fun into the mix. I began taking pickleball lessons from Johann last fall after watching his exceptional play.  I was impressed with his ability to focus on my needs and devise instruction to elevate my game.  From the first lesson on, he explained important techniques, skills and strategies that definitely helped advance my understanding and play.  After each lesson he texted me a summary of things we worked on and important concepts to practice and remember.  I’ve had a number of pickleball coaches but never one with such a good understanding of technique and strategy and the ability to clearly communicate and execute effective drill to seriously improve my level of play.
